Adhesive Test Specimens

Metaspec manufactures metal, glass, plastic, and wood test specimens and substrates used in testing adhesives by ASTM, ISO, FINAT and other test methods. These test specimens are used to measure the shear strength, flexural strength, tensile strength, tension loading, torque strength, impact strength, and peel or stripping strength of adhesives, as well as other adhesive properties. Some of these test specimens are known as lap shear, single-lap-joint, or sandwich joint specimens. Adhesive test specimens are made from various materials, metals, and alloys based on the materials used in the end-use application.
