1100-H14 Aluminum Test Panels
Metaspec makes test panels, specimens, coupons and catalysts from 1100-H14 aluminum (also known as UNS A91100, 1100, or commercially pure aluminum). Some standard test panel sizes include 3" x 6", 3" x 10", and 4" x 6".
1100 aluminum is one of the softest aluminum alloys, and is likely to have at least some minor scratches in the as-rolled form. Metaspec makes 1100 aluminum test panels with a pre-cleaned as-rolled finish, but sanded or polished surface finish options are also available. Customized test panels are available on request.
Regular test panels are PVC-coated on both sides, cut to size, deburred, and packed in bundles. These panels may have some minor surface defects and will have mill oil on the surface, as these are the sheets in “as-received” condition from the aluminum mill.
