ASTM D3807 Plastic Test Specimens

Test specimens used in ASTM D3807 (Strength Properties of Adhesives in Cleavage Peel by Tension Loading - Engineering Plastics to Engineering Plastics). These test specimens can be made from a variety of different engineering plastics, including ABS and acrylic. The standard specimen size is 1" x 7" x 1/4". These specimens are bonded in pairs with the test adhesive to form laminated test specimen assemblies for testing. ASTM D3807 uses ten specimen assemblies for each test adhesive. Customized test specimens for modified versions of this test are available on request.
