ASTM D3931 Test Specimens

Wood test specimens used in testing adhesives by ASTM D3931 (Strength of Gap-Filling Adhesive Bonds in Shear by Compression Loading). This test method evaluates gap-filling adhesives such as those used to bond plywood to lumber, lumber to lumber, and other similar materials in building construction. The test specimens measure 2" x 1-3/4" x 3/4" and are bonded face-to-face with the test adhesive. ASTM D3931 requires a minimum of 28 test specimens.
