ASTM D6203 Copper & Steel Rod Test Specimens

Copper and steel rod test specimens used in ASTM D6203 (Thermal Stability of Way Lubricants). The specimens are C11000 99.9% pure electrolytic tough pitch copper and AISI W1 1% carbon steel. Each specimen is 1/4" in diameter and 3" long (6.4 mm diameter by 7.6 cm). The test specimens are cleaned and polished with 32 grit silicon carbide abrasive cloth and then washed with solvent. Each test rod specimen is packaged individually.
