ASTM D849 Copper Test Strip

Copper test strips used in ASTM D849 (Copper Strip Corrosion by Industrial Aromatic Hydrocarbons). This test measures the corrosive effect of industrial aromatic hydrocarbons on copper. The copper strip is made of 99.9% pure copper (such as UNS C11000), and measures approximately 1/2" x 3" x 0.062" (12.5mm x 75mm x 1.5mm). The test strip has a 1/8" (3.2mm) hole centered at one end of the strip (1/8" from the edge).
