ASTM D953 Bearing Strength Test Specimens

Plastic test specimens used in ASTM D953 (Bearing Strength of Plastics). This test method describes two different bearing strength specimens, Type I and Type II. Both types of specimens are approximately 1/2" x 4-3/4" with a bearing hole at one end. This test uses five or ten test specimens for each sample material. Customized test specimens for modified versions of this test are available on request.
ASTM D953 supersedes FTM 1051.
