ASTM F1111 Cadmium Plate Test Specimens

Cadmium plated steel specimens used in testing by ASTM F1111 (Corrosion of Low-Embrittling Cadmium Plate by Aircraft Maintenance Chemicals). These specimens are made of 4130 steel and are 1" x 2" x 0.048" (25.4 x 50.8 x 1.22mm). Each specimen is cadmium plated per ASTM F1111 Appendix X1. This test requires three replicates for each maintenance chemical solution being tested.
