ASTM G174 Abrasion Test Specimens

Metal test specimens used in ASTM G174 (Measuring Abrasion Resistance of Materials by Abrasive Loop Contact). These test specimens or panels can be made from a variety of different metal alloys. Each specimen is 32 mm x 8 mm x 3 mm, and is polished on one side with 600 grit to a 0.1-0.2 um Ra surface roughness. The test specimens are solvent cleaned and individually packaged.
