ASTM G4 Corrosion Test Specimens

Metal test specimens conforming to ASTM G4 (Conducting Corrosion Tests in Field Applications). These test specimens are designed to evaluate the corrosion resistance of engineering materials in plant equipment or systems under operating conditions. The specimens may be made from various metal alloys and in different forms depending on the specific test requirements. ASTM G4 recommends either round or rectangular specimens in these sizes:
1" x 2" x 1/8"
2" x 2" x 1/8"
1.5" diameter x 1/8" thick (round specimen)
2" diameter x 0.062" thick (round specimen) 
These test specimens can have a variety of surface finishes, but a 120 grit finish is generally acceptable. Metaspec offers a range of customized test specimens to meet your project requirements.
