ASTM G56 Wear Test Specimens

Wear test specimens used in ASTM G56 (Abrasiveness of Ink-Impregnated Fabric Printer Ribbons and Other Web Materials). This sliding wear test uses a wear specimen and a ribbon specimen (the printer ribbon or web material being evaluated). The wear specimen is a 52100 steel ball with a 0.25" diameter.
