ASTM G61 Corrosion Test Specimens
Metal corrosion specimens used in testing by ASTM G61 (Cyclic Potentiodynamic Polarization Measurements for Localized Corrosion Susceptibility of Iron-, Nickel-, or Cobalt-Based Alloys). These metal specimens can be made from a range of different metal alloys, including cast aluminum, titanium, and stainless steel. Each specimen is 5/8" in diameter, 1/16" or 1/8" thick (depending on the type of material), and is polished 240 and 600 grit SC.
