Boeing BSS7434 §7.1 Sandwich Corrosion Test Panels

Sandwich corrosion test panels used in Boeing Specification BSS7434. Each test panel is 2" x 4" x 0.040". A piece of filter paper is saturated with the test material (aircraft cleaner) and is sandwiched between two test panels. The sandwiched test panels are tested in a humidity cabinet per BSS7434 §7.1.
These test panels may be made from 7075-T6 (bare or clad) or 2024-T3 (bare or clad). Six test panels of each material used are required for each test.
