FTM 3457 Copper Strip

Copper strip used in FTM 3457 hydrolytic stability testing. This test is also known as a beverage bottle or Coke bottle test. The test method calls for sealing the test specimen and measured volumes of water and the test fluid in a sealed bottle. The copper strip is 1/2" x 2" x 032" (1.3 cm x 5.1 cm x 20 gauge). Each copper strip is polished and individually packaged, ready to use in the laboratory.
