FTM 5308 Test Specimens

Square metal test specimens used in FTM 5308 corrosion and oxidation testing. This test measures the oxidation resistance of highly refined light oils and hydraulic oils. The test method calls for a variety of metal specimens, including copper, steel, aluminum, magnesium, and cadmium. Each test specimen is 1" x 1" x 0.032" and is highly polished before testing. 
Metaspec sells all of the test specimens required for FTM 5308 testing. Customized test specimens for modified versions of the test are available upon request.
