FTM 5331 Test Specimen

Steel test specimens used in FTM 5331 (Corrosion Protection of Steel Against Sulfurous Acid-Salt Spray by Solid Film Lubricants). The test specimen is a 1010 steel disk with 5.4cm diameter, 0.16cm thickness, and a 0.08cm hole for handling the specimen with wire. The test specimens are hand polished with 240 grit AO to a surface finish of 0.25-0.50 µm.
