GMW 14872 Corrosion Coupons

Steel corrosion coupons (also called mass loss panels or test specimens) used in testing by GMW 14872 (Cyclic Corrosion Laboratory Test). These corrosion coupons are made from 1008/1010 uncoated steel. Each corrosion coupon is 1" x 2" x 1/8" with a 1/4" center hole. The coupons are also stamped with an alphanumeric ID number.  
These corrosion test coupons can also be used in SAE J2334, which is similar to GMW 14872.
