ISO 4404 Test Specimens

Metal test specimens (also called test pieces) used in testing by ISO 4404 (Determination of the corrosion resistance of fire-resistant hydraulic fluids). Each specimen is 20 x 100 x 1mm (0.8" x 4" x 0.04"), and have a hole at one end. This test method requires 13 specimens of 5 different metals: 4 zinc, 3 steel, 3 aluminum, 2 copper, and 1 brass specimen. These specimens are deburred and polished per ISO 4404.
