ISO 4587 Lap Shear Specimens

Lap shear specimens used in testing by ISO 4587 (Tensile lap-shear strength of rigid-to-rigid bonded assemblies). Each specimen is 25mm x 100mm x 1.6mm (0.98" x 3.94" x 0.062"). The specimens are bonded at one end with a 12.5mm overlap to form the test assembly. These specimens can be made from various materials depending on the end-use application of the adhesive being tested.
