JIS K2514 (ISOT) Copper & Steel Catalysts

Copper and steel catalyst specimens for JIS K 2514 oxidation testing (Indiana Stirring Oxidation Stability Test or ISOT). The copper catalyst has square tabs at each end, which fit into the matching slots centered at the ends of the steel catalyst. The copper and steel catalysts are assembled into a circle, which is then submerged in a beaker of oil for testing. 
 
Metaspec provides these ISOT catalyst specimens with a pre-cleaned, polished finish, packed individually. Customized test specimens are available on request.
