MIL-DTL-17111 §4.5.3.4.1 Copper Test Specimens

Copper test specimens used in testing by military specification MIL-DTL-17111 §4.5.3.4.1 (Corrosion & Oxidation - 336 hour test). This test requires five copper specimens. Each specimen is 0.8" x 10" x 0.032", with a 1/16" hole at each end. The specimens are cleaned and polished per MIL-DTL-17111.
 
This test also requires glass or copper spacers (5 mm OD max, 1/8" thick), which are used in between the five copper specimens when arranging the test specimen assembly. Metaspec makes copper spacers 3/16" OD x 1/8" thick for this test.
