MIL-PRF-6085 §4.4.6 Corrosion Test Specimens

Corrosion test specimens for testing by military specification MIL-PRF-6085 §4.4.6 (Corrosivity Test). These specimens are made with 52100 steel discs and brass clips that clamp over the disc. The steel discs are 12.5mm thick and 25mm wide. The discs are heat-treated, surface ground, and polished per the test paragraph. The brass clips are made in the size and shape shown in Figure 1. 
These test specimens are similar to the bimetallic couple test specimens used in FTM 5322.
