SAE ARP5921 Vapor Phase Coker Test Tube

Stainless steel test tube used in testing by SAE ARP5921 (Evaluation of Coking Propensity of Aviation Lubricants in an Air-Oil Mist Environment using the Vapor Phase Coker). The test tube is made from 304 annealed seamless stainless steel tubing. Each tube has a 0.5" outer diameter and is 6.5" long. The ends of the tube are slightly beveled and deburred. The test tube is etched in six locations to show the appropriate placement for the thermocouples during testing. Customized test tubes for modified versions of this test method are available on request.
