SAE AS1241 §4.6 Metal Specimens

Metal specimens used in testing by SAE AS1241D §4.6 (High Temperature Effects on Metals). The test requires two kinds of metal specimens, 6Al-4V titanium and 321 stainless steel. Each specimen is 0.75" x 0.75" (thickness up to 0.10"). The test method also requires testing a titanium alloy control panel obtained from the same metal sheet as the other titanium test specimens.
