Paint Test Panels

Southwestern Paint Panels, a Metaspec company, manufactures paint test panels used to evaluate paints, primers, sealants, and other coatings used for corrosion control. Our paint test panels include bend bars, round bars, rebar, T-panels, angular panels, rectangular or square panels, disk panels, and more. Paint test panels are available with a range of different surface finishes, including as-rolled or unblasted, sweep blasted, and blasted finishes to a specific mil profile or specification such as SSPC-SP5.

Most of our paint test panels are made with A36 carbon steel or 1008/1010 CR carbon steel. However, we also make test panels with other steel grades and other materials. Customized test panels are also available on request.
